Network Administrator - Switches and Routers

Communication within a computer network is provided by the switches and routers that input and transmit data from the client computers on to the servers and return. These switches have their own operating system and programming language. A Network Systems Engineer analyses the clients' needs and designs and implements a computer network. MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) is an industry recognised certification in these skills on the Microsoft platform. Computer Technician

Computer technicians maintain and upgrade hardware and operating systems on individual computers. The A+ certification build practical, basic skills in hardware by adding and comfiguring components and develops administration skills by loading and configuring PC operating systems. Many websites are hosted on servers running a Unix operating system, often this is the popular Linux version of Unix.
