CISCO Internetworking 1 starts February, 2007. The four internetworking modules have individual tests and assignments to assess your skill level. On completion of all modules, you are ready to sit the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) certification exam.
The first module covers the OSI Reference Model and industry standards, network topologies, IP addressing, basic computer network desgin and the TCP/IP network-layer protocols.
The second module introduces router protocols and begins router configurations.
The third module covers advanced router configurations, LAN (Local Area Networks) switching, virtual LANs and Novell IPX protocol.
The fourth module covers theory and design of WANs (Wide Area Networks), frame relay, ISDN and network troubleshooting.
